The Beginning:
Being an avid fisherman myself, I recognized the need for quality ice in bulk quantities at a value price, as well as water that didn't taste like a marina hose nor did I want to pay some company to put tap water into a bottle. I know we all share that same need. So we have installed our first ice machine in Pirates Cove Marina, Panama City Fl. with the cooperation of North Lagoon Partners, and Coastal Marina Management; and are humbled by the overwhelming expressions of appreciation we are receiving from our customers. The machine we purchased is from Ice House America, and is the finest machine available. On this particular unit we installed a card reader for credit purchases, and a fresh filtered water dispenser. The price for the water is minimal, 25 cents for a gallon, and a buck for the five gallon option. Bring your own container though, all we do is filter just like the big guys. We plan to publicly display any analysis (required by law) done on our water and ice, as well as a comparison sample of a random bottled water company, as well as the water supplier analysis. |

Current and Future:
Recently we have purchased a John Allmond boat. It is currently being worked over in drydock, but upon return to service will be offered to selective captains locally, as well as serve as a utility vessel for ice transfer to other locations and vessels. Future plans include a Diving modification to the vessel, but I have to keep that quiet for now. Good ideas have a way of becoming someone else's....real quick. We are also toying around with the idea of providing live, frozen, and pre-rigged bait on a marina site basis. Anyway, the best way to describe my vision for the future is to provide the service needed, when it is needed, and for a more-than-fair fee. Keep an eye on this site for all the updated info in the particular areas. Hope to see y'all soon!! |
